Hello, welcome to Apple Watch Weekly. Bandbreite version 2.0 is here for iPhone and iPad. Launched in 2020, Bandbreite catalogs over 840 official Apple Watch bands, organized by style, color or release date. In this update, “more than 30 new features and changes” arrive, including a revamped logbook, richer stats, faster iCloud sync and improved search.
Users can still sort and filter their personal collection with new options. Bandbreite was free for four years, but version 2.0 introduces a one-time $7.49 fee to track more than five bands. As creator Filip Chudzinski says, this change “will ensure that his team can provide the best possible experience in a financially-sustainable manner.” Existing users who already have more than five bands get free access to all features, but must pay to add more.
A Mac app update and the return of the Apple Watch companion app are coming soon. For more, check Chudzinski’s long-running MacRumors Forums thread on Apple Watch band releases. That's today's update, thanks for tuning in.
