Welcome to Tech Fit Today—I’m your host, Lindsey Ellefson. If you’ve ever wondered how (and why) to link your Apple Watch to your Peloton Bike, you’re in the right place. First, open the Peloton app, tap your Profile, hit the More menu, then select Apple Watch. Grant Health permissions and toggle on Connect to Health App. Next, in your iPhone’s Watch app, make sure Peloton is installed and showing on your watch.
Now hop on your bike, start an indoor cycle workout on your watch, then launch Peloton on the bike. Instantly, you’ll see your heart rate on both screens and a power-zone bar customized to your fitness level. After you finish, your ride appears in Apple Health with the Peloton logo—no duplicate calories, no mess. As Peloton puts it, “The Peloton App succeeds where other apps have failed: It doesn’t make tracking your movement across various apps and devices a convoluted mess.”
You’ll also unlock Strive Score, a personal metric based on how long you spend in each heart-rate zone. It’s safer, more motivating, and gives you a deeper dive into your performance. Give it a try—and happy riding!
