Today on our show, Elon Musk takes aim at President Trump’s new Republican domestic policy bill. In a recent CBS interview, Musk criticized the “One Big Beautiful Bill” for adding $3.8 trillion to the national debt over the next decade. “I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not just decreases it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing,” he said. Musk also quipped, “I think a bill can be big or it could be beautiful. But I don’t know if it could be both.” The bill, passed by House Republicans, promises tax cuts, energy incentives, and tighter border enforcement, partly funded by rolling back clean energy credits. White House adviser Stephen Miller defended the plan as a win for conservative priorities, while Musk warns the federal bureaucracy remains “an uphill battle.” Senate approval still faces tough hurdles.
