Microsoft Outlook is enhancing its mobile app with a new minimize button, designed to streamline composing emails on the go. This feature allows users to easily minimize a draft email and access other apps or emails without losing their current work. Instead of going back to the drafts folder, users can view a floating stack of recent drafts, enabling smooth transitions between tasks. Currently undergoing beta testing on iOS and Android, this addition promises improved efficiency for frequent mobile email users. Similar task-switching functionalities exist in Apple's Mail app and to a lesser extent in Gmail.
