Today I’m looking at a tiny desktop PC you can buy for just forty-four dollars and ninety-nine cents. The Wo-We mini PC packs an Intel Celeron N4020 dual-core chip, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of eMMC storage, and Ubuntu Linux preinstalled. It offers both VGA and HDMI outputs with Intel UHD 600 graphics that can drive a single 4K screen or dual monitors. On its product page, Wo-We boasts “powerful performance without breaking the bank” and calls its graphics “state-of-the-art.”
In real-world use, it delivers enough power for basic web browsing or office tools, but with only 4 GB of RAM and slow eMMC storage, heavy multitasking or large file loads could feel sluggish. As the article puts it, depending on your needs this could be “Whoa, we got a lot for the money” or “Woe betide we who bought this.”
If you’re comfortable with Linux and need an ultra-budget PC, it’s worth a look. But casual users should brace for occasional lag and consider alternatives like a Raspberry Pi 4 before clicking buy.
