Nadella also jokes that his job title is “email typist,” relying on at least ten custom agents he built in Copilot Studio to summarize emails, prepare for meetings, and handle daily tasks around the office.

Under his leadership, AI is reshaping Microsoft in profound ways. He even claimed that “30% of the company’s code was written by AI.” That shift played a role in recent layoffs, with programmers among the hardest hit.
