Hello and welcome to today’s episode of Tech Brief. If you’re someone who likes to know what’s coming in your mailbox before you open it, you’ve probably signed up for the USPS “Informed Delivery” service. Each morning you get a grayscale, address-side scan of every letter and package on the way. Now USPS is building a dedicated Informed Delivery app with push notifications and easy package-sharing—“a similar experience as the traditional emailed Informed Delivery, only presented in an app UI.”

The iPhone beta is currently labeled “This beta is full” on TestFlight, but keep an eye out for “View in App Store” if spots open up. Android users can join right now: sign in with your Google account, accept the invite, tap “Joining this group,” then install the app from the link provided.
